Light Body, Some red tart fruit, touch of bitterness
conc: Fell short, the body just seemed way to light like watered down wine. Maybe needed a decant [as I find sometimes the thinnes of a wine will open up with a decant]

Very Masculine [tho that is what Pauillac's are, are they not?]
Dark/Youthful, Red fruit, tannins are present, same with oak[coffee] and lots of Dark Chocolate
Conc: Very Young but as potential for sure, just needs time Or maybe a huge decant?

Palate, seemed more closed then the nose for sure but Good Solid fruit, good solid structure but needs time, and air.

Med Intensity, Savory/Umami nose initial attack
T:Gorgeous Nebbiolo RIPE red fruit, hint of 'sweet' fruit but so good, not candied but balance on the edge and stays on the delicious/good side

Nose of that Classic Nebbiolo Red fruit, cherries mixed with nibs, and spice.
On the palate lots of sour cherries, and very spicey, opens up an hour later more together very solid nicely intergrated

On the Nose This interesting Green Herb note, red cherries exotic spice like almost Frankincense, with a hint of Citrus
Palate Dark Dense, Dark Fruit, Dark Chocolate big load of tannins very masculine
Conc: Needs time, so youthful and massive needs to be tamed

Wet/mossy/earthy, a nice fresh zingy cherry mixed with a hint of rhubarb.
Conc: To be this had that Je ne sais quoi, that made it my favorite of the night [even tho the score doesn't represent that] its fantastic just hits all those spots

This has that Classic [for me] Oregon Fruit profile that bright intensity but w/great fruit structure. And this is a good year.

Funky Nose, has almost a fritzy fruit profile, and also very preppery
Interesting, but would need to see the funk blow off to see whats truly there

Absolutely Gorgeous Nose, Could smell this for days and days! That Focused Red fruit that is crystal clear, with floral notes so Elegant.
Same thing with the palate with a touch of pepperyness
Conc: Amazing wine, I can see why people love this stuff, so elegant/feminine, beautiful

This was very good, but the opposite of the Ridge Monte Bello 07 [from the same tasting] This was more masculine, more power, darker fruit, denser, Brooding, with a great core of acid and focus to not make it over the top or nothing [and not that it is over the top the fruit is in a good spot] Just brooding/masculine
A Excellent wine [tho I prefer that Elegant Style of Ridge]

This wine is Awesome! Liquid Gummy Bears! I love it! I really dont know what else to say, full body, good fruit structure, acidity balance and a nice roundness brought by a touch of oak
