Lots of honey, caramel, praline, ripe fruit in the background. Smells very sweet but tastes much drier than it smells, tastes more nutty than fruity. Dense, thick texture, but not heavy. Bit hollow/metallic on the finish. No score as I wonder if this miay have been oxidized.
Deep golden color. Very nice nose of ripe apricots, peaches, mango, with interesting rainwater and rocky notes. Off-dry, full bodied, less austere with a bit of air, well-balanced. Quite liked this. My first Z-H; for some reason I thought it would be huge and over-the-top, but it wasn't.

Very sweet, almost cough-syrupy cherries on the nose, with notes of vanilla and pine forest, maybe some herbs and roast meat? Palate is hollow, savory, showing plenty of acid, some iron, a bit of tannin. This is either shutdown or (more likely I think) just not very good.
I had never heard of fruhburgunder before until the bartender poured me a glass of this. Apparently this is pretty rare stuff as the wine didn't exist in CT and I had to create it. Very nice nose of ripe straberries and raspberry jam, with a piney note. Palate is full and smooth but not dense or concentrated, with noticeable vanilla. The texture is creamy and there's not much in the way of acid or tannin. Smells much nicer than it tastes; it's a little green/hollow. The finish is short and slightly bitter. Certainly interesting though.
Great nose of passionfruit, ripe orchard fruit, honey, lime, slate, fresh cut grass. It's sweet and juicy, with a slight slate undertone. Medium-bodied, mouth-coating, but not superdense or heavy, with good acid to balance the sweetness. Handled cheeses very well.
