  • 2005 Domaine Georges Vernay Côte-Rôtie Maison Rouge

    France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie

Tasted blind. Very disappointing. On the nose ripe fruits, vanilla and some other strange odors that I couldn't define. Lacking of balance, hollow, too bitter and too predominant acidity. I intended to score it as 85, but then I saw that I tasted it in the past and it should be an excellent wine, so I believe it was spoiled and gave no score (115$)
