Nice selection with 3 from Sonoma, 2 each from Napa, and Paso Robles along with Mendocino, Livermore, and Santa Clara Valley.
We paired this "Port-style" dessert wine with two blue cheeses (one soft one, one firm), and two types of chocolate (one with 72% cacoa, and one with 85% cacoa). The wine was a hit! It was a toss-up between the Castellano creamy blue cheese, and the Valrhona Le Noir Extra Amer 85% cacao chocolate as to which of the chocolate and cheese it worked best with.

Dark ruby color with fruit mixed berry, slight floral and intriguing Indian spice aromas. On the palate it's light-bodied, and well balanced with dark cherry, raspberry, cassis, and a hint of semi-sweet chocolate flavors. Short finish. The more time I spent with this one the more I liked it. 13.2% alcohol. $25 Retail 405 cases produced
