  75% new french oak. 15% whole cluster. Les Damodes plot is pretty close to the Vosne Romanee border and it definitely shows in the wine. gentle with good weight and a bit of vosne spice. quite round but not lacking structure. pepper, red fruits, briary. will improve with more time.

2010 suffered from low yields but the wines, esp. Cote du Nuits, are quite rich, concentrated and probably more classic than 2009. They offer more structure than 2009 but still manage to deliver generous fruit.
