  Opened magnum and decanted half of it for an hour. Wine was smooth, but lacked taste. I know it was early to open this one up, but I expected more. It did not develop much more over a five hour period despite decanting

  Bobby Kacher with Bertrand Ambroise and Philipe & Vincent Lecheneaut (Esquin Wine, Seattle): deep purple color. sweet tannins. well structured. round with pepper and woodspice. ripe black and red fruits and dates. very rich pinot.
