  • 1990 Château Angélus 95 Points

France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru

    (8/29/2012)

    - Crimsom color with fast forming legs. It's in total harmony with a medium/full body. Bright texture with a long finish - Al's wine. WOTN for me. Nuanced great wine. While definitely similar to the L'arrossee which followed it, in another league.

  • 1995 Château L'Arrosée 91 Points

France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru

    (8/29/2012)

    - Garnet color with fast forming legs. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Barry's wine. By stroke of fortune served immediately after the Angelus. I was ablest immediately identify the similarity, but it lack the nuance and development of the Angelus.

    - Purple color with fast forming legs. It's in total harmony with a medium/full body. Bright texture with a medium finish - Alvaro's wine. From the weak 98 vintage, to me not as good as recent vintages.
