Light soft nose with hints of wood and sweet earth. Good fresh sweet entry on the palate, with flavours of red cherries, floral essences, and mild citrus fruit. Sweet earth note resonates from nose to palate and start to medium finish. Great quality Beaujolais. Could develop over the next 3-4 years.
Tasted blind. Wonderful aromatic nose of sweet scented wood. On the palate, lots of red cherries, cranberries and raspberries. Rounded mouth-feel with some soft supple tannins towards the refreshing medium finish. Fruit-forward and hiding nothing. Lack of complexity made me guess New World Pinot Noir. Really liked the nose of this, hence the points.
