Another stunning white from F. Hirtzberger that proved once again that this is one of the greatest white wine producers in the world. Fairly dark straw with some golden hues. Sweet nose of tropical fruits like passion fruit alongside apricot, herbs, honeysuckle and green pepper. Full-bodied and dense but with vibrant acidity and a very long, peppery aftertaste. Paired perfectly with a spicy roasted salmon filet. On par with a top Burgh for a fraction of the price.
