Tasted nonblind before the warm up whites. Lot D28614. Cherry and mineral notes developing a subtle strawberry quality later on. Clay, mineral and berry flavors. Fine bead; finishes on the shorter side of the spectrum. Somewhat boring.
Pale color. Aromas of minerals and citrus with hints of apple underneath. Flavors of apple and banana; has a roundness on the palate. I guessed Chardonnay.
Light color. Sulphur and apple notes. Light and nondescript on the palate- perhaps some orchard fruit and mineral qualities, but overall a bit bland. No guess.
Light color with notes of cotton, honeysuckle and white fruit. Good acidity on the palate. Flavors of orchard fruit and honeysuckle. Guessed Pinot Blanc.
Garnet color. Aromas of smoked game, tobacco, black fruit and plum, wit a nice herbal undertone. The fruit on the palate is more red than black, with a pleasant earthy/herbal tone in the background. Balanced; medium(-) finish. Pretty easy to pick out as Bordeaux.
This is drinking well right now, at peak IMO. My last bottle will be consumed within the coming year. This was opened and allowed to breathe in bottle about 50 minutes prior to being poured.
Dusty ruby color with aromas of rose petals, orange zest, red berries, cherry and perhaps even some tar. Cherry and red fruit on the palate, becoming almost Bordeaux-like as it sat with herb and tobacco qualities. Has a nice bit of acid too.

Clay, red fruit and vegetal aromas with a plastic/Band-Aid quality underneath. Vegetal notes on the palate too, along with herbs and red fruit, with a charred, toasted flavor on the finish. More cherry qualities as it sat, turning sour on the finish.
Dark crimson color. Vanilla and plum aromas with a subtle grapefruit note too. Firm tannins; flavors of black fruit and vanilla. The oak really dominates this wine right now. No guess.
Inky crimson color. Citrus, plum, and dark fruit aromas, developing a chocolate note with air. Grainy tannins, with flavors of plum and dark fruit. Guessed Napa Cab Sauv.
Dark garnet color. Perfumed, with dark fruit, plum and black currant notes underneath. Has a slight raisin note too. Medium tannins with flavors of black fruit and herbs and a strong vegetal undertone. Turns grapey & sweet.

Opaque crimson color. Displays a mix of blue and black fruit, along with vanilla and floral notes. Flavors of dark fruit, raspberry and blueberry with a good finish.
This was opened 90 minutes prior to being poured in the final flight.
Dark inky color. Caramel, blackberry, raisin and floral aromas. Firm tannins. Blackberry and dark chocolate flavors; long finish. 89-90 pts. Guessed Petite Sirah.
Served nonblind with dinner by our hosts. Garnet color. Plum, dark fruit and smoke notes, but a bit ripe overall. Sweet black fruit and pomegranate flavors. Short finish.
Aromas of raisin, kirsch, violets, blackberry and chocolate. Cassis, plum, cherry and raspberry flavors. Finishes well. Paired nicely with a flourless chocolate tart, but just didn't do much for me tonight.
