Flight 1 (9 Notes)

  • 2013 William Fèvre Chablis Champs Royaux 88 Points

    France, Burgundy, Chablis

The nose is not that clean, closed but with time it opens, heavy on the citrus, ripe and green as well, tropical fruit, stone fruit, ripe fruit dense backbone, feels quite closed still, lemon leaves, nutty too, youthful
The wine is dry, body is medium+, intensity is medium, acidity if med+ to high, alcohol is medium, lime and lemon, citrus, the acidity is overpowering, med+ finish.
Very good quality, too acidic now to have on its own for my taste, it would work better with food
