Introduction

Les Nomades hosted Dom Perignon with their rep here in Chicago who is the very talented, knowledgable and charming Meryl Muldoon. She walked us thru a brief history, introduced the wines and worked ahead of the dinner with Chef Roland to merge the various champagnes and food. Most glasses were of the Pinot Noir which lent itself to taste the champagne as a wine which in my opinion is clearly the new way to drink champagne. Exceptional evening culminated by the birthday celebration for Mary Beth Liccioni. The wonderful upstairs provided a superb backdrop to a very splendid evening.

    France, Champagne

Great deep pink color, strong nose yet light and full fill on the front and back palate. Wow, 20 years old and 30 to go. Cellar worthy and yet drinking now. The food made the wine really jump out of the glass. Lovely.
