Peach and a hint of raspberry here. Again, nicely balanced. Almost feels a touch sweeter on the finish. I prefer this to the straight brut. ***

Very bright and floral-fragrant. Again in the peach spectrum. Comes across sweeter again. ***

Quite plummy fruit. Soft on the nose and attack. Some soft but noticeable tannins on the finish. Easy drinking. Would be delighted to find this as the house wine at a local Italian. **1/2

A bit more focus on the nose. More precise. Again, quite soft on the attack. Some bitter cherry. A bit more tannic bite on the finish. A little less easy. ***

A slightly artificial feeling nose and a slight edge to the cherry fruit. Grippier. There's something here that I'm not really getting on with. *1/2

Smoother and quite elegant on the nose. Nicely grippy cherry-led fruit. Finishes a little bitter. Quite long though, but the tannins do leave a slightly bitter aftertaste. **

Nicely fragrant nose. Light and ethereal but some real interest. Better balance. The extra age showing here? Finishes well. Nicely soft and integrated tannins. ***

The nose is a step up here. Far more fragrant and also precise and focused. Follows through to the palate. More serious with a slight tightness to the finish. ***1/2

Broader and plusher on the nose. Richer too. Similar on attack, quite rounded. A touch of leather and spice too. Tannins are fine but grippy on the finish. **(*1/2)

Spicy cherry fruit. A touch high toned with it. Quite grippy on the finish before the sweet fruit takes over. ****

Richer on the nose, and more mellow. Plum, leather, fireside and spice. Nicely floral Cool and elegant on the attack. Finely silky. Long. This is lovely. ****

Rich and plush on the nose. Densely plummy with floral and cherry notes. A touch of liquorice in with the fruit on the attack. Finishes well. Persistent. ****

Sweeter, more fragrant and with better lift. Good acidity. Very good line. This is gorgeous. May be a touch too much sweetness on the finish but it's purity rather than artifice. ****

Again, a lovely floral sweetness and lift. A little denser and drier on the finish. Very good again, just a touch less flamboyant. ****

Grippier but also a dryness. Less attractive and probably needs food more. ***

Richer and more mellow on the nose. Positive attack and a smother finish. Seemingly lower tannin and higher acidity. Vintage differences evident. ***1/2

Similar to the Villero, a little less floaty floral and a little finer on the finish. ****

Richer and fuller. Denser fruit but broader and lacking in finesse. Decent but a product of the vintage. ***1/2

Slightly darker fruit and a little sweaty on the nose. Quite dense. Nicely sweet-fruited attack, but more obvious structure on the finish. More food-friendly. **(*1/2)

Mellower and more interesting on the nose. Grippier. Tauter on the palate too. A little anaemic perhaps. ***

Another floral, lifted nose, but a little more confected than the Rizzi. Finishes with milk chocolate. ***

Fragrant, but fresher, lighter and more floaty than the Tanasio. A surprising dryness creeps up on the finish. ***1/2

A bit fuller and less subtle on the nose. Rounded on the palate. Grippier on the finish. OK. ***

Something rather chemically about this. Not great. **

Hmm, a rather off-putting burnt rubber nose.

Again, a touch confected and with a slightly chemical edge. Not my cup of tea. These Sordo wines seem perfectly serviceable in parts, but a little coarse, or at least, lacking refinement. **

Curious nose. Boiling beetroot almost. Savoury. Light and refreshing. Curious but fun and with great energy. ****

2014 Miotto Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Fedéra 86 Points

Feels colder and more aggressively fizzy. A bit more sherbet here. Again, a nice freshness and faint preachiness but a little too strident. ***
