70% Monastreil, 30% cabernet sauvignon. Aged 24 months in oak barrels. More feminine, softer than El Nido. Minerals, blue fruits, slight oak. Tannins need more time for resolving. Another 5 years.

Bordeaux blend. Cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot, malbec. Still very young, needs at least 3-4 more years. The winemaker brought this vintage since the 2007 is sold out from their inventory. Forest floor, cassis, oak, dark cherries, spices, floral. Tannins are beginning to resolve, but still have more to go. $55 approx retail. (Doris 92. YES)
