Group (and my) preference: Ghost Block, Figgins, Dominus, Cliff Lede.

  • 2012 Dominus Estate

  • 2012 Figgins Estate Red Wine

USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley

Tasted blind. Elegant, pretty nose with sweet blue and black fruit. Wow -- luxuriously textured, so soft and silky. Dark fruit dominates and leads into a lovely finish with fine, soft tannins that goes on for a while. Nicely balanced. A little tight right now but showing excellent potential.
