Modest bouquet. On the palate mainly red berries, but still also some cassis, green bell pepper, ok acidity and some unripe tannin and bitterness. A disappointing effort for this GCC chateau. And I agree with mghspain that this wine must have had better drinking moments. Drink up. No score.

Beautiful bouquet with cassis and other dark forest fruits, some earthy flavors and beautifully dosed oak. On the palate also cassis and other dark forest fruits, sweet spices, a touch of bell pepper, salty licorice, also some smoke and well integrated oak. Beautiful acidity and tannin with still a good bite. Although the wine seems to be ready now, there is no hurry. The wine will stay on this level for a few years. One bottle to go, so there will be at least one more tasting note.

Beautiful bouquet with some smoke and vanilla from the good oak. On the palate cassis and other dark forest fruits, some red fruits as well, earthy, some bell pepper, firm but good acidity and slightly drying tannin. This wine is developing nicely and with a few more years of ageing it will probably be a little better. 88 – 89 for tonight.

Creamy and lactic, youthful bouquet. On the palate supple red and dark forest fruits as well as dark plums, some good oak, a nice balance between good acidity and sweetness. Pleasant tannin with a good bite. Overall there this is a nice wine with some refinement and it deserves a higher score than the current average of 85.6. My score for tonight was 87.

The bouquet has some creamy impressions, cassis an a light dose of good oak. On the palate red and dark fruits, tobacco and some bell pepper. Firm acidity and tannin. Medium bodied at best. Correct, but not really impressive wine. 87 for today.

The bouquet is a bit dusty with aromas of cassis, blood and creamy cherries. Same on the palate. Some bell pepper as well. Firm acidity and ok tannin with a firm bite. Medium bodied. Not really complex or refined but an ok wine. Will improve with some aging. Until 2020 - 2024 to start with and then see if there is more potential. 86 - 87 for now.

The intense bouquet is loaded with dark forest fruits, a firm dose of oak, coffee, toast, chocolate and clove. Same on the palate. Licorice as well, a firm amount of sweetness but also ok fresh acidity. Round tannin. A mouth full of wine. Open for business now and the next few years.

Tasted completely blind and a confirmation of my note from January. New words today were: some toast and minerals.

In the bouquet tea, cold coffee, earth, autumn forest, graphite and some faint cassis flavors. On the palate still some fruits like plums and rose hips, coffee, cinnamon, ok acidity and bitterness as well as melted a bit drying and old tannin. Tertiary and very mature, but surprisingly still drinkable. It was definitely much better 20 years ago. No score for tonight.
