Elegant bouquet with white fruits and green Granny Smith apples. On the palate still a bit sparkling because of its youth. White fruits and green apples again. A touch of petrol. Beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. A lovely and elegant wine. 88+ for today. Give it 4+ years of ageing.
Rich and expressive bouquet with honey and (overripe) yellow apples. On the palate dry honey, apricots and yellow peach. Dry and some acidity. Tasty, but not really elegant, but a bit fat. Lacks a bit in elegance for my taste. 86 - 87
In the bouquet some petrol, white fruits, citrus and green apples. On the palate quite dry with a lot of grapefruit acidity and bitterness. For me a bit out of balance because the bitterness is a bit too dominant. Mature now, but waiting a bit longer will not hurt. Maybe it will all integrate better. Not sure.
Bouquet with minerals and a firm amount of petrol. On the palate a concentrated wine with white and yellow fruits. Litchi! Fairly full bodied with a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness.
Bouquet with minerals and mostly white fruits. On the palate yellow fruits like pineapple, apricots and grapefruits. Including the acidity and bitterness of the latter. The wine was served a bit too warm, but 87+ is probably about right when served at the right temperature.
Ripe yellow tropical fruits in the bouquet. On the palate a sweet start with ripe yellow fruits like mango and papaya. Some honey. Yellow and green apples. Some minerals as well. Green apple acidity. Good concentration. Later, when served a bit colder, the wine showed more elegance. Concentrated wine. Wait until around 2020 and don’t serve it too warm! 90 for today and probably 91+ in 2019 or 2020.
Elegant bouquet with white fruits. On the palate fairly light bodied, elegant, white fruits like green apples, a touch of petrol and grapefruit acidity and bitterness. Ok wine, but I’m not overly impressed.
Ripe and rich bouquet with white fruits and some perfume. On the palate beautiful minerality, some petrol and a great balance between the acidity and some pleasant sweetness. Really nice wine.
In the bouquet gooseberry and green apples. On the palate tight and focused with minerals, dry, a lot of acidity, grapefruits including the bitterness and almonds. I have the impression this is made of unripe fruits. Nevertheless a clean wine and ok if you like the acidity and bitterness. My score is 85 – 86.
Citrus, minerals and grapefruits in the bouquet, yellow fruits as well. On the palate a lot of grapefruit and green apples, but also full bodied with ripe yellow fruits. Firm acidity, nicely dry and focused with some bitterness in the finish.
