Introduction
A pleasure to meet both sisters and taste with them in the cellar. 2016 is going to be drastically short due to the late Spring frost, but what was made here is exceptional. All three Grand Crus are amazingly good.
2016 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Vosne-Romanée
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée
Barrel sample. Great purity and spice. Love the velvety black cherry. Very good Village wine and very Vosne in nature in this vintage.

Barrel sample. Very good concentration of silky round fruit. Great spice throughout. Really enjoyed this -- so approachable already. Killer. 92-93 point potential.

Barrel sample. This is will be a great wine. Big black fruit has great concentration. Velvety tannin. Very long finish. 94-95+ point potential.

Barrel sample. A wow wine in the making. So much intense spice throughout. Great concentrated red fruit accented with loads of spice. Layered with clay and more spice notes. 95+ point potential.
