Second time I have this wine in my glass (see my note from 2008) and it is great again! In the bouquet beautifully ripe fruits and just a slight touch of pleasant bell pepper. On the palate a feast! Red and dark forest fruits, sweet spices, A really beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Great concentration and what a beautiful freshness. Although the wine is mature the tannin still hast a lovely soft bite which makes you think the wine is still youthful. Great wine!

There is a beautiful tension in the wine now with everything perfectly in place. But it will evolve further and will remain beautiful until at least 2020. Considering the harmony and tension at this moment I wonder if it will become better. 94 for tonight.

First time I tasted this wine was 10 years ago and it is still going strong. Extremely luxurious bouquet with beautiful red and dark forest fruits, meat, autumn impressions, eucalyptus, smoke etc. etc. On the palate the same, with some salty licorice as well. Perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. Perfect tannin. This wine combines elegance, refinement, complexity and soft power in a perfect way. Belongs to the top 40 I ever tasted. Really great and not tired yet. Will be a feast until well into the 2020's.

It can probably last for another decade, but it will not get any better. If you have a bottle; be creative and find a special moment to open it. It is a real treat and a feast at this moment.
