Extremely floral bouquet. Full bodied, steely, gorgeous Alsace. Great fruit/acid balance. Yum.

2001 Trimbach Pinot Gris Reserve 93 Points

The nose was slow to open, but quite nice. Very full bodied, terrific balance. Elegant. Perhaps just a touch alcoholic at the end?

Strong petrol aroma on the nose, but enough fruit to pull it off. Dry and steely, with tart fruit and good acidity. A fun wine to taste.
