  Barrel tasting at the domaine. From Justice and Seuvrées. Black and red cherry with roast meat hints. Good depth and concentration to start, slightly softer middle through finish. Overall good balance already, 88-89 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at the domaine. 77 yo vines. Bright red fruit starts out friend;y, gets bigger and richer toward finish. Keeps expanding. Good+ concentration. 90-92 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at the domaine. Planted in 1902. Black and red cherry with a weightless and very elegant mouthfeel, yet also good concentration. Mineral, slightly firm finish. Very good 91-93 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at the domaine. Much bigger and meatier vs Charmes. More black vs red fruit with good weight and length. Starts of meaty, gets elegant quickly. intriguing 91-94 point potential.

  Barrel tasting at the domaine. Dense black fruit with very good concentration for the vintage. Slightly backward to start, then much more elegant from middle through finish. Very good+ potential. As always, from grapes purchased from another well know grower, along with Chambertin-Clos de Beze and Chapelle-Chambertin.
