Brooding and severe to start, this showed lots of apple and pear with firm structure and textures. This opened up and rounded out with more air, becoming very enjoyable after open an hour+. Needs time in the cellar.
Ripe peach and mango give an exotic character, but good minerality and acidity provide bright backbone and energy. Good+ length and balance. Good+ now.
Open an hour before serving. Lots of black cherry, some rich liqueur and black pepper. Impressive density and length. It was a warm afternoon dining outdoors, and the wine was best shortly after being served (at cellar temp).

Wonderful cross-section of orchard fruit aromas and flavors with good richness and concentration, while also showing exciting energy middle through long finish. Much better today vs when last tasted a year ago.
Ripe red and black cherry with floral and spice notes. Fleshy start with some still firm tannins middle-through-finish. Good now, better in a few more years.

Bottle directly from Arcadian's cellar a few days earlier. Slightly more bright red and black cherry than earth with savory spice. Very good weight and length with elegant structural elements. Arcadian's tendency to harvest early comes through with good acidity and nothing too fat.
