Everybody had to bring a flight to taste fully blind by the other participants. The order of the flights is just a wild guess because we don’t know which wines the other participants brought. We try to start with light and simple and older, to more full bodied, more complex and younger. Someone starts and then the others follow when they think it is the right moment. And -to be honest- in most cases it works nicely.
2014 Antonin Rodet Chablis 1er Cru Montmains 86 Points
France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru
In the bouquet minerals and some white fruits. On the palate minerals, citrus, butter milk, a bit salty, spiciness and bitterness. Dry and ok acidity, but not very complex.

2009 Schloss Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Spätlese 88 Points

In the bouquet some petrol. On the palate a firm amount of acidity as well as sweetness. Still very youthful and pleasant, but in this stage not extremely complex.
