Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • 1967 Château Giscours 86 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux

Carmine with a brown edge. There still is some fruit in the beautiful mature bouquet. Oak as well. The tannin is softened, but there is still enough to keep this wine alive a little longer. Quite much acidity and some bitter in the aftertaste.

  • 1976 Château Tour Maillet 85 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

Carmine. Creamy bouquet with cassis. Soft and supple tannin. Earthy impressions. Creamy and supple. Medium bodied and pleasant wine with enough power for a few more years.

  • 1964 Château Plince 87 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

Dark carmine with a brown edge. Not very expressive bouquet with still some red fruits. A lot of soft friendly acidity and the tannin tells this can even last a few more years. Long fruity finish.
