  • 1955 Château d'Yquem 92 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes

Dark caramel colour. Hazelnut, toast, honey, caramel and toffee on the nose. The palate has a similar profile, with rich, developed sweetness and very good length. Suffered slightly next to the lift and freshness of the 1937, but still very very good!
