Cameron very kindly told me about this tasting when we bumped into each other at the Strand tasting the previous evening so I jumped on line and grabbed a ticket. Super interesting selection of wines.
This was a lot of fun, there were some nibbles as well...lots of shouty people but no one got out of control and everyone was (relatively) well behaved.
2017 Domaine Huet Vouvray Pétillant Brut
France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray Pétillant
slightly sharp lemons, a little butter (?), muted sweet spice and chalky minerality in support as well as a little bees wax and honey. Juicy, tangy, honey, fleshy mousse, lemon, bread yeast, slight butter. crikey this is nice!

2019 Domaine des Roches Neuves Saumur Bulles Brut

Served very cold. Sour lemon, a little biscuit, herbaceous underpin. Juicy, lemon, soft mousse, citrus, tangy, a little bread yeast, palate nicer than the nose. Okay.

NV Louis Bouillot Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Grande Réserve Perle de Vigne

Savoury red cherry fruit a little sweet spice backed by some cirrus and herbaceous underpin. It's a bit sweet and sour on the palate with soft mousse, lick of tannic burr. Meh.

peachy, nectarine; sweetly fruited, slight floral elements, a little waxy note. Juicy, fruity, waxy, a little apple skin texture, slight non-intrusive alcohol warmth, bold. Nice.

funky, meaty (wild ferment), lees work, stone fruit; apricot, sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of drying tannic gip which proves too much for the stone fruit, Hmm.

FLOR! Saline, nutty, slight biscuit and lemon. Medium plus intensity acidity, saline with a slight lemon core. Flor (of course) slight texture, finishes a little bitter. Nice.

wild ferment, slight gamey, savoury, red berry and cherry. Juicy, tangy, textured grip is slightly drying quite cherry on the palate, rather nice (and should be for AUD55)

Savoury strawberry, red plums in support; a bit of ripe sweet fruit and a touch of herbaceous background. Initially on the palate there is a touch of tiny petillance. Juicy, fleshy, textured burr, red fruits, okay.

Ooh, very aromatic, lots of floral including rose on the nose, slight lychee, pretty nose. More of the same on the palate, textured grip is slightly drying fruit just about persists. Interesting.

2nd bottle shows a little funky/bretty note, a touch reductive (popped and poured), muted but opens to show baked black fruits. It's slightly more sour on the palate. Air is required.

medium minus intensity aromas, slightly sour smelling (especially considering the vintage) blackcurrant, sweet spice, a little herbaceous note…perhaps vines shut down during the heat. Medium plus intensity acidity, chewy, chunky, drying and woody tannins, lacks a bit of fruit on the palate with a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish. Meh.
