Introduction
This was the monthly big group tasting. The theme was pinot noir from anywhere. We had 13 at two virtual tables (SP, KB, MB, CV, BB, GA, Rebecca, JG/CG, JV/MV, MZ, Seth). First time at BLVD and they did a nice job for us.
NV A. R. Lenoble Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 92 Points

Light gold color. Small glass. Laser focused, fresh, taosty, pear, brioche, a little citrus on the finish. Loved it.

NV Gosset Champagne Brut Grande Réserve 91 Points

Pale gold color. Small glass. Bread dough, apple, apple peel; lemon palate, apple peel, cream. 90+ to 91pts.

Light salmon color. Small pour. Cherry, apple, apple peel, a little angular on the back end for me.

2015 François Lumpp Givry 1er Cru Clos Jus 90 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Givry 1er Cru
Medium dark red color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Sour cherry, cranberry, quite spicy, deep and a little sappy with a smoky tobacco character. Had this last about 3 years ago, and I think it is a bit better, but lacks some finesse.

2010 Camus Pere & Fils Charmes-Chambertin 93 Points

Medium red color. PNP, drank a glass over an hour plus. This was really quite lovely, showing a purity to the core of strawberry fruit, dried earth, silky texture, dried spice and a long finish. In a nice place.

Small glass. Big, ripe style, pretty aggressive on the palate, oak. Didn't do anything for me. 87-88pts.

2018 Arterberry Maresh Pinot Noir Maresh Vineyard
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills
Small glass. Red fruits, dried wood notes, youthful, grippy. Love Aarterberry Maresh, but this is not ready for prime time, so no score for now. Gut feeling is 90-ish (+?). Interestingly, did not show nearly as well as the '18 Kelly Fox Mirabai at this point.

2017 Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Peter Martin Ray Vineyard 90 Points

Medium red color. Small glass. Penetrating, super earthy, really damp and mushroomy, pretty ripe red fruits, still primary, but offers a lot already. Need to see how this shakes out over a couple years in terms of ripeness. 90(+?).
