  • 1998 Château Bourgneuf

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

Lighter than the previous wines of the evening. Smooth and silky with a real dark note. Complex and layered. Very nice, integrated with some green herbs. Light midpalate but very nice finish. Classy.

Deep and tight with acidic tannins and a dark bitter finish. A little thin and closed fruit. Nice herbal aspect.

A bit strange and stiff. Not giving up much. Angular and acidic. Possibly closed?
