2018 Raumland Cuvée Katharina Brut Nature 86 Points
Germany, Rheinhessen
Good, yes, but neither a pleasant no-brainer nor a fine wine with complexity revealing the champagne vinification. Just didn't seem to come together that eve.

2021 Domaine des Terres Dorées (Jean-Paul Brun) Beaujolais l'Ancien 89 Points
France, Burgundy, Beaujolais
Very intense and unique nose. Floral and spicy (perhaps almost vegetal).
On the palate, this also expresses itself paired with a certain crunchiness.
the wine lacks refinedness but definitely high qpr. Profits from air.

2022 Dönnhoff Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel 91 Points
Germany, Nahe
Alcohol :7,5 Vol.%
Sugar: 93,0 g/l
Acidity:9,0 g/l
Due to its comparably low sugar for a dessert wine, this might struggle versus heavy chocolate desserts. However, it pairs well with ice cream, fruits, and mild cheese.
it also works well solo. Surprisingly, the nose opens with a petrol note that then evolves into a ripe fruit, minerality mix. Very lean and elegant with palpable but well integrated acidity, closing with a long silky finish. Good stuff.
