An outstanding Champagne with precise notes of cranberries, white cherries, biscuit, and lemon zest. Juicy and fruity on the back end, followed by a delicate minerality.
An austere Champagne with notes of soft cheese and green apples. Rather green and herbal through the midpalate and finish. Not my favorite style but an interesting experiment in terroir idealism.
An outstanding Champagne! Impressively regal notes of Fuji apples, Asian pears, kiwis, and ocean spray. Rich, precise, tangy, and mouthfilling. My WOTN. 93-94 points.
What a terrific Champagne! Notes of red and green apples, Anjou pears, biscuit, and crushed minerals. Soft and refined on the palate. Richly textured but very balanced. 92-93 points.
Aggressive and crisp in style with intense notes of green apples, tropical fruits, and honeycomb. Weighty on the palate and richly textures. A big boy, or with respect to the label, a BBW.
This was the wine that set off the debate about what qualifies as a grower Champagne. Regardless of the outcome, I am happy Sandy brought it for us to taste. Notes of soft cheese, yeast, kiwi fruit, and toasted bread. A bit dilute on the palate.
I have had this wine a number of times but am surprised that this is my first TN. Anyhoo, this is a very regal Champagne. If you like Bollinger, then you will LOVE this wine! Rich and oxidative in character with notes of red apples and Bosch pears with hints of caramel and bruleed sugar. A terrific Champagne! 92-93 points.
Everytime I try this Champagne, I think to myself, "It's good, but eh." Same thought again tonight. Light and feminine with notes of lemon pulp and minerals. The finish was a bit lacking tonight.
This was by far my favorite Rosé of the evening. Complex and unadulterated notes of strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, citrus rind, sugar cane, and a touch of bruleed sugar. Clean and refreshing on the palate with a long, pure finish. 92-93 points.
This was not the best bottle of this Rosé that I have had. Herbal and lean notes of unripe strawberries, lemongrass, and sugar cane. Pure and distinctive but just a bit too lean for me. 86-87 points.
Rather funky at first, but with air the wine revealed earthy notes of strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and wood smoke. Tasted very much like an effervescent red Burg. 87-88 points.

I thought this was drinking better than the 1999. Soft and fleshy with notes of nectarines, green tea, and ocean spray. Tangy finish.
