On the nose it's like you're drinking two wines simultaneously: BdB Champagne and matured Bourgogne Chardonnay, apples, chalk, pears, honey, all at once. On the palate it's big and buttery, maybe lacking acidity, but not dramatically. |

You get fresh cherries from the trees, redcurrants from the bushes, and loads and loads of forest floor, mushrooms and dried leaves and gamy notes and barnyard. As the wine sits in glass, some richer aromas come out, and by the end there’s milk chocolate and raspberry (Brits can I get big ups for Terry’s chocolate raspberry, it’s kind of like that). Very enjoyable. |

A really nice white Pernand-Vergelesses that is showing the more vibrant side of white Burgundy (and the vintage). Really nice and excellent QPR. |
