Nose melds a slatey minerality, some grape flesh, a little sherbet pip and a hint of cashew. Palate reveal Cox apple, a touch of grapefruit zest and a refreshing acidity. Just perfectly balanced and very more-ish. With air a focussed lime character emerges on the end palate. If I've had a finer Champagne so far this year I don't recall it. |

Crackling with energy from the start. Clearly young and linear but it’s a great line of beautifully balanced and persistent sweet lemons. Superb bdb. |

Cor, really exciting, and extremely sophisticated, it being immediately apparent that this was a refined, sleek and energetic wine. Despite the piercing, sherberty core, the wine managed also to be airy and ethereal, and with time in the glass also showed notes of praline, biscuit and Yuzu. Just delightful - like drinking from a mountain spring, or as though Falkenstein made Champagne. |

4/29/2024 - DAN BAILEY Likes this wine: NROpened and aired in an ice bucket for 30 mins or so before serving. Some thought it too cold but I preferred the focus that temp brought to the wine, which was absolutely stunning. I’m a big vilmart fan and have bought all the VBs but this was the first time for me to try one. I went particularly long on this vintage and am thrilled I did. Incredibly elegant and racy. Piercing line of gently sweetened lemon. Great balance throughout a really long finish. I’ve drunk a lot of incredible champagne over the last decade or so. This was as good a bottle as I can recall. |

The wine has an intense mineral core that runs through the center of everything like a laser, with notes of lime, kiwi, and hints of bergamot on the nose. This is a singular Champagne...I would not compare this to any other Blanc de Blanc that I've ever had...but the tension on the palate does remind me of the Coeur de Cuvee right no release. I'm going to be very curious to taste this with more age on it...it seems like this wine might last decades (and improve) with good storage. Outstanding!!! |

The nose has (uh) ripe cheese and some sweet situs. On the palate, the wine is wonderful with almonds, coarse marzipan as well as clementines, and sweet lemons. I also find some red berry fruit. The wine has a delicious acidity, good length, and mousse that makes it feel fresh and lively. |
