7/3/2020 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: 93 pointsAmazing wine, mint, leather, earth and smoke. Ripe red fruit. It’s balanced, long and very enjoyable. It’s drinking in the window right now and my goodness is it good. Let me know if you’ve tried it recently because this was just great. Do you find this review helpful? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

6/21/2020 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: 90 pointsIts a lot. Big, bold, red, powerful chunk of wine. I could almost feel I was chewing the grapes while I drank this. It’s on the sweeter scale of california wines but it’s not overbearing like the Syrah from Austing Hope. I’m sure some people are going to love this. Ripened blueberries, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

2/20/2021 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: NRSenior wine, its showing secondary and terciary aromas. Tannins have softenned inmensly, it’s smooth and easy to drink. Its earthy, dark red fruit, minerals and spices. Its drinking beautifully, but its about ready to start hitting the slope to go down. It will not get better. |

6/26/2020 - Glaso da Vino wrote: 98 pointsWow, just wow... Red peppers, red fruit, leather, its soft and caresses your toungue. This wine helps me understand why I love wine. The tannins are soft, the fruit is still very much there. Its a surreal experience to drink wines like this. We thought it might be a 90’s wine. 1970’s California in all it’s glory. The best wine of the day and an amazing example of what evolved, bordeaux style wines could be from California. |

2/7/2021 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: 92 pointsBlack pepper and black olives. This Syrah is amazing. Its still got power and lenght in the palate so this guy has a way to go, but its in a nice drinking window right now. The tannins are softened enough to sip on the wine by itself. Black peppers, olives and riper red fruit dominate the nose and mouth. Spot on, representation of the terroir and varietal. |

8/2/2020 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: 90 pointsYou can taste the producer’s signature style in the production of the wine. This is Mariano. Although it’s their entry level, it’s powerful, fruit forward, oaky with vanilla. It’s long and auromatic. Blackberries, dark cherry, and a little toasty. Looking forward to see how this develops over the years. |

6/2/2020 - Glaso da Vino Likes this wine: 94 pointsThis wine is spectacular. Among the sea of similar tasting wines that Napa offers, this wine stands out and delivers. At first it come up strong with black cherries and oak. It's balanced and long lasting with a silky feel. With a time, the complexities of the wine start to shine through. I got vanilla, spice, with a smokey toasty finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or drunk 10-15 years from now. |

6/11/2020 - Glaso da Vino wrote: 90 pointsCalifornia New World wine. I’m sure Robert Parker and his followers love this wine. Its fruit forward cranked to 11 with alcohol at 15%! The good thing about it is that it has the tannins and acidity to back it up which makes it the type of california wine you want to keep drinking. Blackberries, cherries and other ripe red fruit. Some oak, notes of vanilla and a mintiness/freshness in the finish. Make sure to give it time to open up. This is not a subtle wine. |
