Starts a bit spritzy and carbonic, though that blows off with air. Reticent nose. There's a bit of sweetness to the dark plum and cherry fruit, along with good freshness, but it's distinguished by its strong herbal streak along with a dash of pepper that runs through the palate. It's probably most impressive on the back, transitioning well into the finish with fine tannins and plus length. |
