8/17/2009 - Troon wrote: 83 pointsThere was some berry on the palatte and definite oak. The tannins did subside while drinking. The finish was short and uninspiring. This was a decent, but not great wine for the price. |

11/3/2009 - Troon wrote: 86 pointsA good selection in this price range. Subtle fruit, barely a medium finish, but balanced. I purchased a few bottles, so I could try at different times. I am curious to see what this is like in 6 - 12 months. |

2/4/2011 - Troon Likes this wine: 86 pointsThis was my last bottle. This isn't drinking too bad now. This is still a very fruit forward wine, but for $8 is a good deal. I would agree with those that say it might be a bit too sweet. The finish is still medium, which surprised me. I would say this wine could go another year, but I don't see it going until mid-decade. |

4/11/2012 - Troon Likes this wine: 88 pointsBig blue fruit cab. Did the shake before drinking. It's a departure from a Bordeaux blend or big Napa Cab, but it goes well with food. |

5/12/2010 - Troon wrote: 90 pointsDid the shake, and I really believe it made a difference. I took a taste of what I poured out to do the shake and compared it with the glass after the shake. The alcoholic taste goes away (I think the reason for one reviewers low rating). What's left is rich, dark fruit and a pleasant berry nose. I did not decant at all after doing the Molly Dooker shake. Be sure to look it up on the website before drinking. What a difference it makes. |

2/6/2010 - Troon wrote: 89 pointsExcellent Shiraz. I decanted for 30 minutes before tasting. The nose had berries, cracked pepper, and maybe chocolate (I saw this in other reviews, and I think that's what I am sensing). The palate is full of berries with a hint of spice. After an hour, the wine continues to evolve and open up. |

11/15/2015 - Troon wrote: 92 pointsThis was a big wine with a lot of tannins still left. There was blueberry and cracked pepper on the nose. The finish was long and strong with blueberry, blackberry, and vanilla. This wine comes in at 14.6% alcohol. I only had one bottle, but I wonder how this will settle out with more time. |

11/1/2011 - Troon Likes this wine: 92 pointsPopped and poured. Dark ruby color with cotton candy on the nose. The nose was more muted than I expected for how big of a shiraz this is from Two Hands. There are still some tannins in this wine, so I think it can go a few more years. blueberry on the palate with a medium finish. I'd love to have another bottle for a few years down the road. |

5/27/2018 - Troon wrote: 90 pointsPopped and poured. Took about 30 minutes to open up. A good value at $22 with fresh and ripe red fruits and spice on the palate. The finish is medium-short. This is a classic Australian Cab in my mind that is drinking well now and for the next couple of years. |
