PnD let air for 2hrs.

A very dark CF.

Ripe and plummy with red currant graphite thyme and fennel.

Grippy tobacco coffee and raspberry finish. Drink now suitable for further ageing. Case worthy.

Elegant, well balanced. Dark fruit with a hint of pepper and rosemary. After a bit of breathing relaxes to a lovely finish.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of blackcurrant, mint, pepper, toast, clove on medium intensity. On the palate plum jam, blackcurrant on medium flavor intensity, simple fruit based, acid medium so as alcohol and tannin but the length is between medium and long. Made for drinking not for thinking...

Despite note from Cellartracker, this wine is not past its peak. Very drinkable cab. Softer body with mild tanins. Easy going not terribly complex but good dark fruit to complement a hearty lentil soup and lite supper. Good value too.

Ok for everyday drinking, although not exactly a great QPR. Relatively profoud colour, violet rim. Bit greenish on the nose, soft in the mouth with moderate tannins and a distinct milk chocolate impression (never thought I'd get that this obviously). Drink now or keep another 3 - 4 years.

Obviously pretty cheap stuff but at least not buried under oak and varietally correct. Drinkable but uninteresting. Drink now.

Interesting aromatics notes of blackcurrant, smoked bell pepper, toasty tobacco and fermented soya bean. Very savoury. Balanced palate, rich and polished with nice acidity providing some lift in the full-bodied palate. Good depth but finish can be longer and seamless. Age for 3-5 years for the elements to develop and integrate fully into the structure. 89-91 pts.

Retasted in July 2023. Not much changes in the nose and palate. Overall just a touch smoother in the mid-palate. No change in score.

A very nice CS. Gladly seen as a everyday drink. Smooth and nice wood/vanilla perfume. Still showing some tannin- so I assume you can keep it for another 2-3 years.

Drank this with lasagna and french bread. Had very nice fruity nose and kept it throughout the dinner. We did not let this sit long as we enjoyed it very much. Was a little dryer than I like but the flavor was outstanding.

Nose is quite complex and balanced, blue and black berries compote wrapped around by roasted fennel, hints of tobacco and gravel. A touch of Bordeaux personality than a classic Chilean’s prominent cassis and gooseberries aroma. Palate is more new world, with ripe fruits, roasted spices and savoury herbs. Good level of energy and freshness emitting from the medium to full bodied structure before ending with a decent deep finish. Decant for 30 mins if you are drinking now, it is probably better for this to age for 2-3 more years for the elements to achieve greater harmony. 90-92 pts.

Simple but enjoyable wine. Received as a gift 15 months ago, and the extra time in cellar did it well. Has a purplish hue. Nose is very good. Taste is also good, acid is assertive, medium red fruits and balanced dry and sweet, low tannin and shorter finish.

46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Carmenere, 26% Syrah

I normally don't enjoy Chilean wines, either because they are too acidic or vegetal. I think the blend here really smoothes the palate. Label says grapes are all hand picked. At likely under $10, this is an excellent value wine for a simple meal like vegetable lasagna.

Goût un peu trop relevé d'alcool au nez comme au goût. Des tannins très présents. Il mérite peut-être qu'on attende un peu avant de boire ce vin jeune.
