It is lighter and crisper than the 2020, more open at this stage and easier to drink, but there is no under-ripeness. Comparing it to recent vintages, I see it as a slightly cooler version of 2017. TN: Dense and compact with polished tannins. A bit formulaeic at this stage, not much aroma (yet). Rather good than great. |
