Crisp tart orchard fruit and lemon curd on the nose, which follows over to the palate with a touch of nuttiness. There’s also some saltiness, like drinking a sea breeze. Concentrated with a 30 second finish. Première Cru without the price. Delicious pairing with the shrimp piccata. 91-92. |

Aromas presents minerals, pulverized rocks, oyster shell and tidal pool qualities with hints of oatmeal and light toast. Penetrating. The palate enters with apple flesh and a chewy apple core with an oyster shell texture and lingers on into the finish. Still rather tight, there is a steely, minerals and quarry dust quality to the mid-palate making the wine a little unforgiving. Crisp, horizontal acidity this left a white-knuckle tension on the finish that I enjoyed! |

Needed an hour of air to open. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with cheeses, fish or shellfish. |
