Problems: the acidity is slightly elevated (which could be overcome with just a slight increase in the alcohol) with a slight aftertaste (which can be smoothed out). But for a lit body, smooth texture, fruit forward (but not overpowering) taste for about $20.00...give me what? |

It is quite passive in my opinion not much happening in terms of depth or concentration. It is somewhat juicy on the early pallet leading into, a higher acidity and somewhat sweet finish leaves me wanting much more for the price point. |

Giving way to the salinity of ocean mist. There's also lemon zest, honey, granite, white pepper, sourdough, and a subtle hint of jasmine blossoms. Dry. Moderate alcohol. High acidity that lingers in the mouth forever. Lovely wine! |

12/12/2023 - Glenn Gilbert Likes this wine: 88 points13.5% alcohol; imported by SM USA, Inc., Miami Beach, Florida; the foil is medium to heavy weight; the composite cork is about 4 mm longer than I have measured most wine corks, with a wine seepage into the cork of less than 1 mm; the freshly opened cork has a stone fruit aroma; long legs, color is a dusky reddish/brown; after opening, oxygenation was accelerated via Vinturi; tasted about 45 minutes later in a glass designed for Malbec, nose of freshly-cut root vegetables and alcohol; full bodied, with the taste of root vegetables confirmed -- parsnips, rutabaga, beets, Irish potatoes; hefty minerals in the background; some sour-trending red or black berries, alcohol and tannins less in evidence; the berries are more prominent in the long finish; the winery is physically located in Tuscany and the label recommends pairing with a Tuscan cuisine -- barbecued red meats, including pork, which I heartily agree with |
