This is pretty rich and ripe, complex for its age, and full of dark red and black fruit. Cherries but also plums, beginning secondary notes of chocolate and leather. Tannins and acids are smoother, so we'll see if it holds up but a solid GS at a reserva price. |

Beautiful nose of red berries, baking spices, orange peel and cough syrup. The bottle had been open a few hours before my first glass. This is in a great spot. Nice balance between tannins, acids & fruits. It kept improving over the course of dinner. Really fine weeknight wine. |

Purplish ruby color. Smells like dark fruits, cherry, licorice, cedar, Kirsch, bit of a floral component. Medium body, medium (+) acid and finish, drying and grippy tannins, and flavors of dark fruits, some bright lemon and orange notes, some spice and minerals. Well made; I like it. Give the next one a couple more years. |
