Acidity makes this wine hold together. I'm on a mission to remove the dead wood from my cellar and I expected to feed the drain with this one, but I will probably finish the bottle. I would never serve this to a guest, but the Scotsman in me whispers: "finish it". Fruit still present, but fading.

Has come around with time in the cellar. No tannin present, but good acidity to provide structure. Far better than my most recent evaluations. Drink soon.

Bottle 1302g. Moderately intense aromas of red cherry and strawberry, with a light herbal note. Dry, with elevated fresh acidity, just medium-bodied, 12.5°, moderate but gentle grippy tannins. Hard to find Burgundies with this kind of cool climate character nowadays.
Wild mushrooms with spinach, bulgur and dukkah. I think the sumac will chime with this.

Drinkable, but barely.Big time volatile acidity. Cellar tracker says I have 4 bottles left. Hopefully I've given them away (not to good friends). Drink now or pour down the sink. The '13 vintage was great, but probably an aberration. Addendum: I didn't pour it down the drain. Tasted again day 7 stored at 60 degrees F. Has come around. Probably deserves an 89.

Vinegar on the nose and palate. I really liked the 2013, so took a flyer on a case of 2014. Not my finest hour. This wine has improved a bit, but never will improve further. If you are unfortunate enough to have this in your cellar, drink up.

If this bottle is typical, this wine is not going to improve. Not as good as the 2013.

Seems to be shedding some rough edges that it showed shortly upon release. Otherwise ditto previous notes.

I've had this wine in the past and rated it much higher. I considered not rating this as my experience departs in a statistically significant way from past experience. The wine does not seem flawed in any way, but presents with a bitterness on the finish that I don't remember and find somewhat unpleasant. Would not be surprised if this wine succumbs to pre-mox, or was this just an atypical bottle?

Nice unoaked white from northern Burgundy. Tastes like it, perhaps has pinot blanc, or pinot auxerios in the blend. Full bodied with good acidity. Nice alternative to Macon. Good value.

Seems to be coming together and settling down in the bottle. Suspect this wine will evolve to be as good as the 2013. Great value in a burgundy.

At this stage of evolution, not as good as the 2013. I think a year of bottle age will even things out. A great value in old world pinot noir worth seeking out.

From750: Beautiful deep floral nose, unusual for such a young pinot noir. Palate simple but smoothe and packed with sweet fruit. Little or no oak in evidence.Good finish. Will keep and perhaps improve, but drink now for it's youthful exuberance.

clear, lovely light-med gold in color. very good concentration for what i understand was not a great vintage; a good dose of minerality and crisp macintosh apple on the palate. good value for the price!

Nice value bourgogne here. Nice mineral and sea shell followed by citrus fruits and pith, a little grassy and a touch of sweet. Tart and tangy on the palate with the same touch of sweetness. Amazing pairing with copper river salmon.

You know, this was really nice. Not quite Chablis, but that may just be the vintage showing its more rounded side. Lemon curd, almost yeasty, and a bit mineral. Good complexity for the price--rounder and maybe better on day 2. Great find.

Jura Wines at Weygandt (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): This is a treat, especially at $18. Peter Weygandt imports this wine from limestones soils north of Chablis. Intense aromas of limestone and minerals. The palate is tangy with acid. Medium bodied, light but not thin. Very steely and pretty, and an excellent bargain. It could outdo some Chablis at three times its price.
