Pale straw color. Nose is muted—I don’t detect any typical SB notes. Good legs and rich mouthfeel. Palate shows good acidity but kind of a funky finish.

Very typical styles of each so what do you prefer?

@domaines_minchin citrus, pear, gooseberries, a little herbaceous. Beautiful fresh acidity, more citrus and gooseberry. Nice lingering tangy finish 87 points

@churtonwines this was more tropical and fruit forward with passion fruit, melon, limes, green pepper and an intense fruity palate. This finish wasn't as long as the Menetou-Salon but it was very typical of the region. 86 points

The cork… Oh my… Very poor quality and already soaked 2/3!

Light yellow.
Restrained Sb aromas of gooseberry, drying grass, kiwi-banana, cassis and … something dark lurking in here. Licorice?
On the plate, it follows the aroma profile and definitely anise seeds (not licorice) with a smooth, creamy texture. Also some off putting aromas of sweetwater aquarium, carambole fruit and fouling vegetables. This is intense, concentrated, long, complex and a very interesting wine.

This wine has both good and wanting aspects. As it's but a padawan, I’m not able to give a proper divination of its future. However, I'm not at all game for more btls of this.

Score is the first of "very good" bracket.
If you like unusual aromas in your young Sb's, than you will possibly enjoy this more than we did.

No formal note, a mellow expression of pinot, with savory elements of underbrush showing up along with quiet red fruit. Very smooth and easy to drink, pairs well with food, which adds a little more pop to it.

Por copas. Un vino elaborado con SB que aporta esas frescas notas a savia y a césped junto con unos recuerdos a cítricos que sobresalen sobretodo en boca. Simple y directo no necesita de mucho más tiempo para ofrecer estas juveniles cualidades.

Juicy, clean, with lemon and grapefruit aromas and on the palate with mouthwatering acidity, but a hint of ripe pineapple on the finish gives it a balanced sweetness on the finish. So well made for the price.

Ripe fruit is the key characteristic yet the sits under a lot of acidity which gives sharpness, yet mouthfeel is rounded. Nose is complex and interesting. Finish is long. Score 90 on a day you fancy some acidity!

Tasted after 2017 Fumet, this seems a bit riper and more generous. Notes of yellow stone fruit and hints of some tropical fruit notes. The minerality is less pronounced here. On the palate creamy, fresh, vibrant. Good length to the finish. Excellent and great QPR. 91-93

Wow! Nice purple colour. Opened it and want a wonderful nose. This is assebly made of Gamay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, & Merlot. In mouth it lives up to the nose. Fruity light yet very tasty and if medium length. Highly recommended. Excellent QPR.

Clear light ruby. Feral, funky nose. Medium weight, actually quite good amplitude for Loire Pinot. Tart cherry and tremendous soil, brambly finish with the brett returning to render the finish not completely clean. This definitely needs a few years, but will its flaws worsen over time. Love the amount of soil and character, but in this general price range, I think the Kuentz-Bas from the same vintage is a better bet.
