Opened a bottle at Crystal Wines (Valley Point) to celebrate a birthday.

Cream in colour, with a nice crisp mouthfeel. Green apples, fresh lime and toasted bread.

An ideal wine for celebrations and sharing.

One of the best rose wines I have had in a long time, whether a still wine or sparkler. Lovely vivid, deep, and translucent pink. Superb by itself and with most any food. Complex and delicious fruits of lemon, lime, raspberry, cherry, and pomegranate. Very nice tannin, crisp acidity, and caressingly bubbles down the throat.

(Disgorged in 2003, 30% Pinot Noir and 70% Chardonnay)
Golden yellow colour with a mature nose showing citrus peel, cream and some butterscotch and opens up with a hint of herbs in a pleasant way. Nice and smooth on the palate with a lime juicy acidity with a buttery mid with a pleasant touch of honey sweetness shows on the finish. Worked very well with tonight‘s Spicy Vodka Pasta..

Opened this at Morsel's over lunch with my elder god-sister to celebrate a birthday.

Beautiful salmon pink in colour. Nice long finish with good finesse and acidity. Nice crisp, sharp palate with some strawberries and sour cherries.

Salmon pink, with a bit of burnt toast, crackers and salient sea-salt.

Not the best for pairing with steamboat or hotpot.

Salmon pink in colour with a crisp, sharp palate. Fresh acidity allowed this wine to be paired effortlessly with most of the food items over the course of the dinner.

Opened a bottle at home to celebrate my spouse's birthday. We had food from New Ubin Seafood.

For a Champagne, this carries more weight than the usual blancs. For a Rose, it is lighter as compared to the other roses. Not very well structured or tasty, but complimented the food we ordered, nonetheless.

Backlog. Red berries and brioche on the nose. Dry. Sweet, juicy fruit. Incredibly concentrated! Fresh acidety. Strawberry, raspberry and vanilla on the palate. Layered, with great depth. Long fruity exit, with lingering acidety and vanilla. Another -08 stunner🥰

Opened this wine at Jin Long Restaurant with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: Pinot Noir.

Beautiful coral pink in colour. Small bubbles continue into the evening as we ate and dined. As compared to the Veuve Clicquot, this wine has a sharp and lean texture and a shorter finish.

Wow. Long stored bottle from the late 90’s. With 20+ years of bottle age it had a deep rich toasty ness to it, almost dom like. Still good bubbles and rich golden color.

Angelica wine club - Old Shit (Strand Cellars, Croydon): Cherry, strawberry, a little ripe apple, honey, toast on the nose. It's bone dry on the palate with flavours of honey and toast, crisp mousse still present and touches of wild strawberry. With time in the glass it' starts to show a little earthy bitterness. Hmm.
