Gardenias, cheese rind, lemon peel, under ripe (green) apple and a good amount of yeasty lees aromas on the nose. Medium intensity of aromas. The palate is more primary - I get mostly fruit, and it's riper than the nose by a lot. Ripe yellow apples, ripe quince and ripe white peach. It keeps the gardenias and leesyness. Medium + intensity of flavors, and a medium finish with just a hint of alcohol burn.

Medium body (Lighter than I expected for Grenache Blanc, though it gets a bit weighty mid palate). Medium acid. Drinking quite well now, though age it for 1-2 more years if you want the fruit on the nose to ripen.

Richer red fruits of pomegranate, raspberry and cherry supported by a balanced structure of fine pillowy tannins and good acidity. This needs some time to settle down and reach its potential. 93+ now, but with good upside from here. Needs 1-2 years and a good decant to show its potential. Impressive.

This was a very good wine, and the fruit has held up well. Osborne crafts an intriguing style of Grenache. Quite unlike most of what you will find out there. Good balance, nice texture, pretty fruit and a delightful finish.

From a magnum. Ripe red cherries, ripe red raspberries, cumin, fennel seed and cloves on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. Smells younger than 9 years old. The palate tastes more like its true age. The condition of the fruits changes to something more preserved, like Kirsch. It adds black licorice and a little bit of smoked cedar wood, finishing with bacon grease. Very much varietally correct for Grenache.

Medium body with bright medium + acidity and low tannin. Drink now. At peak in this format..and probably over the hill already if from a .750. Good pairing with BBQ brisket (American style)

Roasted root vegetables, ripe and dried red cherry, cola (vanilla, toast, allspice), cocoa powder, underbrush, and lavender. A very well-made grenache that (in a good way) is not totally in the traditional style. M+ soft powdery tannins on my top front gums. M+ acid is well-integrated and brightens the experience. M+/High aromatic and flavor intensity. Pale-Medium ruby, transitioning to garnet. Very good. M/M+ finish. Decent QPR. From Producer: "Sierra Foothills, Amador County. Grenache clone 362, planted on 3309. Josephine series consisting of well-drained soils, underlain by vertically tilted shale, slate and contact metamorphic rock. West facing on 10% slope. Planted in 2009, spacing at 8 x 5. Native ferment, foot-tread daily for 8 days. Pressed on day 11. 100% whole cluster., 10 month èlevage in neutral french 220L barrique. Harvested on September 9th, 2021. Bottled August 16th, 2022. Finishing pH 3.57. Alcohol: 13.9% abv."

From magnum. If tasted blind I would have guessed Southern Rhône. Elegant with a vein of California fruit. Plums, raspberries, cherries and light herbal notes. Beautiful ruby in the glass. I would pair this with mac and cheese. Seriously. Lovely, inviting finish. Only bottle, unfortunately. Drink now to 2030. Outstanding.

Orange peel, lemon zest, wet stone, ripe red raspberries, ripe strawberries and fresh green herbs on the nose. Good medium + intensity of aromas. I love when a rosé smells like both citrus and red fruits! The palate shows mostly the red fruits and wet stone, not nearly as much citrus as the nose. Medium + intensity of flavors.

Medium body with great medium + acid. Good pairing with steak tartar. Drink now!

Very pale. Strawberries on the nose. Mouthfeel is very nice and fuller than most rose. Tastes of strawberry, maybe some watermelon, a nice yeasty note. Some minerality as well. Finishes medium with a little spice. Very nice option if you want an easy drinking but complex rose.

Decanted for a hour. Pale Ruby, with medium intensity, developing aromas of violet, cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, cedar, and cranberry and pomegranate. This wine has highest acidity and alcohol with medium body and medium plus tannins. This wine has flavors of cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, violet, nutmeg, and cinnamon. This wine has a medium finish. This is a good wine that should be drunk now, and in the next five years to 2029.

Interesting to compare to Comando G, a super hip wine these days from Madrid. I like this a lot more, and didn't know anything about it going in. Very light in color, strawberry juice in the nose and mouth, with a touch of spice. Really fun.

My first foray into A Tribute to Grace - it was very interesting to try this lighter extraction of Grenache, but the finish felt considerably short and the wine felt quite thin as a result. Certainly a personal preference but I would also suggest to serve this very slightly chilled.

10 years of age and drinking beautifully. Wine is medium to light bodied and color light red with a hint of browning due to aging. Nose is really pleasant with nominating red berries. Soft tannins and a really good structure. Lucky to have 4 more that I plan to drink during next 2-3 years.

A note from a Coravin glass.
Bouquet of cherries, wild strawberries, roses, iris, fresh tobacco leaves and some orange zest.
Absolutely delicious and fresh it reminds me of the Comando G wines from spain or even slightly an aged Rayas.

This bottle was gorgeous, it was silky, very rich, had lovely balance, absolutely wonderful fruit, a few spice notes, and fairly decent length. I will be looking for more of her excellent Grenache.

Liked the Vie Caprice Vineyard quite a bit when I had that a week or so ago, so this was a huge disappointment. Really pale in colour and comes across underripe and hollow with thin fruit, very little else in terms of flavour/depth, and an astringent finish.

Not especially complex, but quite enjoyable with plenty of red fruit and lightly spicy/herbal accents. There's good richness and a slight sweetness to the fruit, surprising acidity underneath, and while it's a relatively one-note wine, it's a very pretty and enjoyable note.
