2/26/2024 - HDash Likes this wine: 95 pointsA beautiful wine that continues to evolve over time. Tannins are now soft, finish is long with complex dark fruit and chocolate on the mouth. Unfortunately, the bottle did not last the night to try on day 2! |

6/21/2023 - Delund Likes this wine: 91 points1 hour decant, served at 60 F. Deep and rich in color. Initially subdued, a nose of dark fruits, eucalyptus, smoke and dried cocoa gradually emerged and intensified with air. Big black cherry fruit on the palate, with green herbs, dried oak and raspberry notes. Low acidity, well-integrated alcohol. Soft, velvety tannins and a long, drying finish. |

3/17/2023 - Clark W Griswold Likes this wine: 90 pointsDouble decant. Concentrated dark fruits. Very drying finish. Heavy oak treatment is a bit much for me on this one. Usually enjoy Adams bench though they are very big wines. |

2/20/2023 - Coffeematt wrote: 93 pointsBlackberry pie, a little green leafiness, a small amount of blueberry and chocolate, touch of leather. Tannins definitely sticky but not rough, enough acidity to keep it fresh, in a great place right now and for the next few years, I’d guess. Great for drinking with food or on its own. I’ll be looking for more. |

12/20/2022 - SeattlePaul wrote: NRI think the previous reviewer is onto something. This seems like it's alive, but it's definitely a jumble. Maybe it's in a "dumb period." Alluring nose with dark cocoa or almost coffee notes. Very dark fruit on the palate and a lot of grippy tannins with smoky oak flavors and a good underlying acid structure. A few spikes of green in the finish, which is otherwise long. |

4/12/2022 - Clark W Griswold Likes this wine: 90 pointsFull throttle merlot. Concentrated and extracted. Just a little too much high quality French oak barrique for me :). I find it distracting. I thought 3 years of bottle age might give it time to integrate. Maybe more time… |
