Some clearing of color
Palate is quite rich and full with excellent fruit and a bit of tar and smoke. Some floral notes on the finish. Quite smooth and integrated. Drinking well, maybe at peak?

Poised, silky, with a swampy but cheerful nose. Nice tannins and acidic balance. I think this wine will even improve with a few more years in bottle, but a delight to drink now. Really started opening up after 45 minutes of air, but by that time we were finishing the bottle unfortunately. Had with marinated beef and pork at the Steakhouse in Seoul.

Enomatic madness (Enoteca Regionale del Barolo): Floral, aromatic and perfumed with red apple, strawberry notes. Overall a very pretty but low-key impression. Juicy, quite lightweight on the palate with fine tannins. Lacking cojones.

The nose is lovely; flowers, licorice, a hint of vanilla, medicinal herbs, white pepper, black tea, cherries.
The palate opens fruity, cherry, strawberry, underripe plums. Bitter herbs, licorice follow suit. Very dry and tannic. A wee bit too hot?

Not too much happening in the nose, some white grapes if anything. In the mouth white fruit (grapes, pear, wild peach), white blossom, tingling on the tongue, hint of minerality (shells).

I've only tasted a few Pelavergas so have little to compare it with. Light bodied and dry with a backbone of acid and tannins. Best with food but also good as an aperitif with nibbles.

Al naso profumi ottimi e consistenti. Al palato giusto equilibrio. Di media struttura e corposità, rotondo e fine. Media persistenza. Ottimo Nebbiolo.

The colour was medium dark with the typical nebbiolo orange rings on the edge.

In the nose I got some earthy notes, dark berries like blackberry and black currant.

On the tongue the wine had the earthy notes still and the darker berries like on the nose. The acid was medium to heavy but not too much. Even though the it was three years old at the tasting, the tannic bite was still present and powerfull.

All in all a very pleasent Nebbiolo with tannic and acidic bite. I will save the last bottle for a couple of years and taste it again, when the tannins have lost the rough edges. Good buy at this price point (100 DKK)

Rojo rubí. La nariz es bastante intensa, golosa, hay muchos especiados, matices de cacao en polvo y ciruelas maduras. En boca tiene buen ataque, cierta untuosidad, tanino vivo, goloso y pulido, estructura media y bastante persistencia. Un tinto de precio comedido que resulta bastante disfrutable.

Relatively short maceration on the skins (7-8 days), aged for 36 months in French barriques. Light to medium garnet colour, aromas of crushed red berries and undergrowth with a touch of wild rose; full-bodied palate but with a certain elegance, the tannins are slightly dusty, austere but not forbidding; good resonance and length. A solid Barolo, with a whiff of Monvigliero finesse. At restauranth Fifth, Eindhoven, NL.

from one of my favorite vineyards Monvigliero in Verduno. First time I try this producer. Compact and dense wine with dark red fruit, no sign of the usual strawberry notes often found in monvigliero. Loads on oaky notes. Modern style.

Pale red color. Aromas of stems, earth, bark, minerals, a bit of earth followed by raspberrie and strawberries. Palate with cherries, strawberries, herbs, some earth and minerals. Savory. Light bodied with good but not great acids. Incidentally, went pretty well with cheddar cheese and was better for it.

Aged four months in steel tanks and decanted for an hour. So fresh and hand-crafted. Very young, obviously, and that’s for the better. Great pairing with penne with thick roasted tomato sauce with a touch of pancetta. Would also pair beautifully with a Ragu. Superb food wine.

Really nice and drinking well here - clearly a young pup with bitty tannins but still enjoyable. A wonderful nose and good density - loved it.

Nice strawberry, cherry and cranberry notes with a hint of bitter herbs. But this wine is 15% alcohol! You can detect it much more on the nose than on the palate. The high alcohol throws the wine out of balance.

Amazing complexity, offering up black cherry, acacia and plum on the nose and palate, along with sweet tannins and a soft, intriguing acidity, leaving a dedperst search for just one more pour. More age should leave notes of tar and forest, with added complexity, but in it's 8th year, it's a beauty. Wish we had a couple cases left....
