Precise and rich on the palate, lavender honey, citrus, beautiful minerality. Crisp acidity, fabulous balance. Finishes long, long with flavors that mimic the palate plus a bit of black pepper. No need to wait longer, this is drinking beautifully. Drink for the next 10 years. |

Typicity here but nothing to really stand out in a positive way. A steal compared with many Puligny-Montrachet villages wines, though not one to show off to the most serious burg connoisseurs. To be enjoyed with good company who won't be snotty about their wines. Perhaps there is upside, but this is not a sure thing. I would enjoy now +3 years. |

I do not think that this was done in order to play into a new world style but rather was due to the vintage. While ripe, it still retains a very good freshness. While it certainly has the structure to age for a few years, I don't know that it will benefit at all from it. Very nice white flower, marzipan, honeysuckle nose and palate with crisp acidity. Good with food or on its own. As always, a great QPR. |
