The nose is of ripe plum, fresh fig, cassis, a light touch of brown sugar, and a light touch of leather. The palate enters on the rich, ripe fruit and turns to medium minus tannin and medium minus acid. The finish lingers nicely replaying the refresh fig and ripe plum notes. All in all this has aged remarkably well and despite some fairly ripe fruit here is totally in tact and drinking really well. |
