In der Nase sehr blumig, fast an Ros? erinnernd. Am Gaumen noch recht viel Säure. Gut: Fruchtigkeit ohne Süße. Am Ende für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Schärfe. Dies ist der letzte Weiße aus dem WWS Einsteigerpaket. Fazit: Sauvignon Blanc ist zu scharf, Trockener Riesling zu sauer, Chardonnay aus der Eiche interessant aber zu "weird". Rounder, smoother, and directionally fatter and softer than I expected. Pleasant flavors of citrus, apple, with a nice acidity. Better as it warms. Clear. Beautiful to look at. Blackberry bouquet and same on the palate. Much tannins but greatly balanced with firm acidity. Cool weather red wine but very deep and clean. Excellent example. Nice extraction for a Pinot Noir, Cab Franc and Côt (Malbec). No overly bright and candy notes but old world charm. Very vinous and evolved but fresh. Do you find this review helpful? Wait, this isn’t Zoom or another video group chat so I guess maybe you could comment with a waving hand or some other emoji, let’s just keep it clean, okay? It was just such an event that was focused on wines of the Loire Valley, specifically in and around the village of Sancerre, and some wonderful Sauvignon Blanc wines produced in that region, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, Touraine, Pouilly-Fumé, and others represented. Since I couldn’t buy six wines and drink them all, maybe my trusty Coravin would have worked, I decided to buy one so as to become one with the panel. I chose the Domaine des Corbillières Sauvignon Blanc Touraine 2018 In retrospect, I might have chosen the Pouilly-Fumé as it was a wine I was familiar with, but this was a time to be bold and go with something new! I choose well. From the middle Loire Valley, and from a region not as heavily invested in Sauvignon Blanc as some of the others mentioned, the wine was very enjoyable and a great value. Aromas that bring to mind citrus, a lemony quality, and a touch of minerality, it proceeds to provide a crisp background with only a modest grapefruit touch leaning more towards those lemony qualities. A slight grassiness along with taught minerality leads the wine to its refreshing and pleasant finish. Right around $15, this is a wonderful wine, especially if you’re planning a light meal or any seafood or shellfish dish. Cheers Do you find this review helpful? Yes - No / Comment

Fruits exotiques, murs mais croquant. Feuille de figuier. Bouche droite à l'ouverture mais le vin est un peu froid. On sent un certain côté crémeux. Pas écœurant, y'a de la fraîcheur.
