This is a riesling full of ripe fruit flavors and is still quite primary at the moment. I may lay the other one down for a year or two to let some of the secondary notes come into focus a bit more. |

On the palette plenty of beeswax and lanolin. Sweet tasting grapefruit and maybe even orange. Some cream after an hour. Pretty good, but could do with a few more years I think. |

We have some elderflower and mature apricot, but these sweeter notes are perfectly mixed with the characteristic petrol flavors, typical of this grape. On top of it, some refined gunflint notes make the bouquet of this bottle worth of several takes. The palate is bone dry, with medium to full body. in the aftertaste, notes of grass, oil, and a closing reminder of sweet apricots we found at the beginning. |
